Cybele Ghossein, MD (Treasurer)
Dr. Cybele Ghossein is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree at Tufts University and her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she stayed for a residency and chief residency in internal medicine. She completed her nephrology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. She joined the faculty at Northwestern University- Feinberg school of Medicine in 1998 where she has continued to practice nephrology. Her clinical focus has been autoimmune renal disease and the care of young adults transitioning their care from pediatric to adult nephrology care. During her tenure at Northwestern, she has held many clinical leadership positions including nephrology practice director, in-patient dialysis director, director of medical subspecialty groups. Currently, Dr. Ghossein is the Associate Chief of Clinical Operations and the Vice Chair of Medicine for Academic and Faculty Affairs. Dr. Ghossein has previously served as a member of the WIN Executive Council before assuming the position of Treasurer.
