Emily E. Zangla, DO (Former)
Emily Zangla is a first-year pediatric nephrology fellow at the University of Minnesota. She did her medical training at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies in Cleveland. Her career interests include hypertension, hyperlipidemia and cardiovascular health in kidney disease. In her free time you can find her editing a new pediatric nephrology podcast, The Kidney Chronicles (check it out on Spotify!), running and exploring the Twin Cities. She is the recipient of the Li-Li Hsiao leadership fellowship award. Her goal is to revamp the fellowship sector of Women in Nephrology so that we can have a cohesive group to partake in programs that will best facilitate career and leadership development process.
