Niloofar Nobakht, MD, FASN (Councilor Four)
Dr. Nobakht is an Associate Clinical Professor of Nephrology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is Faculty of the American Society of Nephrology and has participated in a wealth of clinical research including hypertension, diabetes, polycystic kidney disease and kidney transplantation. She highly supports the mission of kidney health awareness. Her current research and practice are focused on Hypertension, Diabetes, Polycystic Kidney Diseases and Women's health in patients with kidney disease and hypertension. She is the founder of the Music and Kidney program at UCLA health and is awarded as wellness champion. She highly supports the role of lifestyle and wellness on human health. She is an executive councilor at large for Women in Nephrology and leads WIN Speaker Bureau initiative.
