WIN conducted a "Career Navigation: A workshop on early professional development"
KidneyCon, Little Rock, AR in April 2019
This 4-hour workshop was targeted towards fellows and junior faculty and discussed early career transition in academic and private practice, challenges faced by early-career researchers, time management, mentorship, building a national reputation and leadership, and unconscious bias in medicine and science. WIN faculty that gave talks included Drs. Lisa Curtis, Silvi Shah, Manisha Singh, and Michelle Rheault. The workshop was well attended and applauded by trainees and junior faculty.
